Olympus Mju 770 SW Camera

Post by DaveWalsh » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:48 pm

The above features a lens cover that opens/closes as the camera is switched on/off, to my mind a \"must\" in waterproof cameras. I am told it is unique in this respect among point and shoot waterproof cameras. Are there any experts out there who know or know better ?

Were we talking to the same sales person?! I can\'t advise, other than thought this model was nice myself, pricey though. Thought the strong outer casing was a good plan, would like to see how much better the anti glare screen is.

David, I have one of these cameras... and the \"other\"....... Pentax that is on the go of late.. The better of the two to my mind is the earlier model (P) as the buttons on the new are tiny if not microscopic!!! not somthing you should be fumbeling around for in an interesting sea. The \"eye lid\" has its problems too as when water gets beehind it it leaves small beads of water on the lens every time the camera is turned on. Pentax the better camera for my money. Maurice.
