Course pre-requisites:
Participants should familiarise themselves with the 2 Star and the Foundation in Safety and Rescue Training Syllabus and believe that they have the necessary experience and meet the paddling standard required of the awards.
Course summary:
This course provides training and an assessment in the 2 Star and the Foundation in safety and Rescue Training course, both prerequisites for the Level 1 Coach award (boat based).
Who is the course for?
We have found that many paddlers struggle for various reasons to access 2 Star and FSRT assessments therefore to make it easier we have put this weekend together for all paddlers wishing to progress on to the Level 1 Coach Award or for those just looking for an assessment.
What does my course fee include?
The course fee includes kit and equipment in course transport coaching, food and accommodation.
