Sea Race Notification
3rd Annual Galway Bay Sea Kayak Race will be held on afternoon of Saturday May 14th 2011
The event will be run from the ewly-commissioned Galway Water Sports Club in the Harbour Enterprise Park (subject to weather) with a start time of 14:00hrs. Its the same venue as the first GBSKR in 2009 and only a couple minutes drive from Galway city centre.

There is a 2 km short novice course laid on so even if your relatively new to paddling there is a challenge laid on.
8km course for the general sea kayaking classes
14km course for the unlimited racing class
This race is a great opportunity to go head to head with paddlers from around the country .
There is a limited amount of boat hire available.
