I see this makes for an interesting swing on the tides. For Galway this coming Sunday/Monday, the range is of 5.5m.

Thanks for the hint.
I am this minute admiring the moon at Galway Bay. I amn\'t howling though, not yet anyway.
Were I a sea kayaker I\'d surely be plotting to exploit the increased hydrolics of the situaton by finding a tidal race somewhere.
As it is I am planning hunting Razorfish, which can only be got at the bottom of a very big strand, and I know just the spot.
