Surf Kayak Trip Portugal 2011

Hi Folks,
I’m looking at the logistics of organising a surf kayak trip to the west coast of Portugal from Apr 9th – 16th next year. Logistics and details would roughly look like:
Flight: Dub – Lisbon, checking a surf kayak per person on the plane
Group vehicle rental from airport to accommodation in Praia Azul (www.praiaazul.com)
Coach: BCU Surf Coach Steve Bowens to coach for half day every day.
At the moment, calculating with current flight costs, accommodation, coach costs, car rental, the trip is coming in at approx €500 per person. The only other extra expense would be food and drink.

If the trip is to go ahead, and at this price, flights and accommodation would need to be booked as soon as possible. I am trying to get an idea of interest out there. Can anyone interested come back to me before the end of the week and we can take it from there.

Alternatively, we could do a weekend in Ireland around the same time of year.

Tony here, I was surfing with you and Steve on the last day of the symposium. Portugal sounds amazing but it would be a step too far. However, I would be dead keen on a home-based weekend.

I\'ll keep an eye on the board and see how it develops.
