http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Wrong ... rrigan.jpg . Was supposed to fly across the USA but flew the Atlantic instead!!!!!!! Had been denied permission several times to fly Atlantic. Landed in Ireland.

He claimed that it was due to a navigational error, caused by heavy cloud cover that obscured land marks and low light conditions, causing him to misread his compass! Now where have I heard that before? Sennen
