Eact Coast Social Evening: February 12th

Post by smurphy » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:49 pm

Hi All,

Herve and Jess have organized a club table quiz for Thursday February 12th.

There is no entry fee and the table quiz is for members of the club plus their friends and family.

It\'s for a laugh, it\'s not a money-raiser in any form and the slideshow that Herve and Jess have put together is great!

Herve and Jess will post further details on the BB.

This is not a night to miss!

Cheers,
Sarah.

If there\'s no entry fee are there no prizes ????

Better to pay a fiver a head so that I can go home richer!

There are indeed prizes Ciaran. Do not worry.

The EC committee has generously agreed a budget from which Jess & Herve will work from.

The idea behind the night is to have a lot of fun. Trust me, you will enjoy it!

:)

Quiz

Post by adamherve » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:49 pm

Hi all,
Here is a bit more information about our French Irish Sea Kayaking Slide Show Pub Quiz. As the name suggests, it’s not just a table quiz. And it’s not just a bit of fun. We’ve selected over 80 pictures related to nature and kayaking around Ireland. In fact, we take it very seriously, as our prizes show: Tins of sardines, cormorant eggs, drinks and French pâté.
There will be 3 rounds: Nature, sea and kayaking, history and language. The quiz will start at 8pm sharp at the Club in Dalkey but logic problem and anagrams will be handed out from 7pm. Team sizes can start from 2 people upwards.
We will be posting some clues over the next 10 days for you to be up to scratch (and for us to become platinium boarders!)
Hervé and Jess

Ar Men, Tevénnec, la Vieille, Penmarch..... If you know where these places are then you\'ll probably get a point in the last question of history round. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m2LeNBY_5gk
