Trip Suggestion

Hi all,

I was looking for some suggestions for a 3 day, 2 night trip next April.

The plan is to head to leave from Dublin on the Friday Morning, do a Hudson Bay start on the Friday afternoon, camp somewhere, paddle on Saturday, camp again and then return on the Sunday. Ideally, back to the start point but if the suggestion merits, we’ll bring two cars and do a shuttle.

We’ll be three people in 2 boats (single and double obviously) and while we’re all experienced white water kayakers, we’re relatively new to Sea Kayaking (apart from the usual summertime trips to Irelands Eye and Dalkey Island and of course kayak surfing)

So I suppose I’m looking for suggestions that aren’t too taxing, with predictable tides and plenty of scope for escape routes if the weather turns (i.e. not too committing)

Any tips and suggestions would be greatly appreciated…
