Book your symposium place by Friday!

Post by niallmadden » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:49 pm

Just in case you don\'t both scrolling to the bottom of the \"Symposium\" thread, here are two bits of news:

1) All the rooms originally assigned to us by the hotel are now booked. They have given us a few more, but you\'ll need to get your skates on if you are to avoid a walk in the rain on the way to your early morning pool session. However there is a more urgent reason to book, even if you don\'t plan to stay in the hotel; the specially designed t-shirts go to the printers next Monday. Only those who book by Friday will get one.

2) A few people have emailed me to ask is the symposium would be suitable for novice/intermediate paddlers. The answer is: YES.

The Symposium is aimed at everybody, with something for everyone from beginner to advanced.
Most of the dry land workshops are aimed at a general paddling audience (for details, see main thread). The pool session will be a mix of peer and instructed.
On the water, there will be workshops ranging from Level 2-3 refreshers, to surfing to incident management.
If the weather permits, there will be trips for various durations and demands, but with something for everyone.

Niall.
