Yup - does indeed look great - esp the venue section.
Are there any plans to include maps etc around these with points of interest / hazardous areas marked out for easy printing, this could then be used to aid trip planning?

Well done to Carl.
New Site looks great.
In answer to Padraig on Maps
If we try to reproduce OS Maps or Admiralty Charts - then we are into copyright issues etc.
Anyhow we expect that paddlers purchase their own Maps / Charts
or software programmes.
Best practice is to use the OS Map 1:50,000 of the area
or the relevant chart.
Insert additional navigation info as detailed in the relevant Coastal Pilot / Oilean.
As you paddle in different areas around the country you will eventually build up a stock of charts / maps etc.
It\'s worthwhile spending a few quid getting an A3 colour copy (insert yr nav detail) and laminating the final to give a durable, waterproof map which fits handy on the deck.

Newsletter - It\'s fallen to me as Chair to publish the newsletter
this won\'t be a publication like ISKA\'s Treasna na dTonnta
but just an e-mail news sheet to update the members on what\'s happening
behind the scenes in committee and otherwise.
Feedback as always most welcome.
