Ford Transit Camper Drivers

I am aware that this aint a camper website but I noticed a few Ford Transits down at the Streamstown meet. I was thinking about acquiring a 1995 diesel model. Do they make good campers? What problems should I look out for? The guy said it has a small bit of rust. I think this is fixable? I\'d appreciate any suggestions from owners,
