The Aug bank holiday meet will be in Anglesey. The trip leader is Des Keaney. This meet is for level 3 plus. I stand to be corrected by Des but if you have any queries put them to the man himself. As for transport over there, people may want to car share, or travel on foot and hire boats in Anglesey. This possibility is being investigated. Another option is to hire a bus and trailer. All these options require early forward planning, committment, and money up front if vehicles and equipment are to be hired.
So names and numbers are required ASAP.

Whilst not wishing to interfere with Martin\'s efforts in this respect, others may find it useful to know the following which I found whilst looking to hire equipment myself for the meet.
Evidently Sea Kayaking UK (Holyhead, 01407 762425) will rent equipment at very reasonable rates. They charge £20 per day for boat hire (Explorer/Romany or others) with paddle and deck, £15 per day without. Pick up/return in Holyhead, preferably 9-5 Mon-Fri, although there\'s a possibility to collect and/or return from Anglesey Outdoor Centre if it turns out that a significant number want to hire.

With regard to renting boats, as Julien says, we can rent from Nigel Dennis but the problem is that we have no way of moving people and boats around. Therefore the suggestion is to sort your own transport.
A car with three people, going over on Friday evening Irish Ferries Cruise and returning on Monday evening Swift costs €163 per person.
Suggested camping is at Anglesey Outdoors where camping is £3.50 per night. Shower facilities etc are provided and there\'s a bar onsite. They can be contacted at 0044 1407 769351.

Thanks Dermot, but I have changed my plans for the weekend. I\'m joining the queue for the Galway races with a little paddling on the Corrib / west coast. Have a nice trip and give us a report on your return. Ewan.
