Just to clarify the meeting points
Friday night - Hamiltons in Leenane - (I\'ve just chosen one pub - no real preference - but lets try and meet up in one spot.
Saturday morning 10,00am
Glassillaun (Car Park)
OS Map 37
Grid Ref L760 645
It\'s just S of Little Killary at
53deg36\'53.6\" N 09deg52\'30.47\"
It is visible in Google Earth and there was only 5 cars in the carpark and it\'s Sunny - So what more do you want.
++++++
Sunday Morning Meet Point will be decided on Saturday Evening
Probably again at Hamiltons.
++++++++++
COME EQUIPPED FOR
A days paddle - 20km ish if weather permits
So Lunch, Flask, Spare Clothes, Over CAg, First Aid, Flares, Tow Rope
Splits, Map/Charts, Compass
Weather is changeable & water is cold - So have Hats, Pogies, Dry Pants, Dry Suits, Dry Cags, Wetsuits etc etc.
If you don\'t have the equipment - we ain\'t taking you on the water...
++++++++++++
Mobile coverage was pretty poor in the area last time for both 087 & 086
So it\'s important to meet up to arrange any trips.
Kayak Rental - We shall not provide - but you are of course free to make own arrangements with any of the commercial suppliers.
Kayak try-outs - best would be after paddling is finished - most of us would have no problem if any one wants to try out some different Kayaks and you will get some advise on which is the best Kayak - wanted ot not...

Re:ISKA Meet - Killary March 24th & 25th
Just to confirm to you all that the meet is going ahead, that the forecast is surprisingly benign-looking (famous last words, I know!) and that the meetup is Hamilton\'s in Leenane tonight, or Glasillaun beach, beside Scubadive West, tomorrow at ten...
Surday morning 10,00am
Glassillaun (Car Park)
OS Map 37
Grid Ref L760 645
As Alan would say.
See y\'all there, and let the summer begin!

And so say all of us. Well done Martin on a magical weekend, weather and scenery couldn\'t have been better (water was a bit cold though - there should be a law against going out without a cag before June). I am not sure at this stage if Alan or Mairtin is the weather God but I\'ll certainly stick to weekends you two are on. Thanks to Mairtin, Alan, Ciaran and Mary for a great time. Patricia.

I have to say thanks for a great days paddling on Sunday. And a special Thank You to those who kept an eye on me at the back of the group throughout the day. I felt very safe on my first trip with the ISKA and got plenty of tips and advice aswell to think about. Thanks to Pat for the loan of the boat. I\'ll be back!
