For all those who\'ve replied....
The consensus is for the three day weekend so we’re proposing to run the course from Thursday night, March 9th until Sunday 12th inclusive. The venue will be Tiglin, just outside Ashford, Co.Wicklow. The course will be intensive and we strongly suggest you stay in Tiglin for the duration. We’re sorting accommodation cost with Tiglin at the moment. An indicator is that we got a quote of €65 for 2 nights B&B + lunches + Sat night dinner so it should be around €100.

The course cost, assuming we get a full 12 people, will be €120.

You must be a currently paid up member of either the Irish Sea Kayaking Association or the East Coast Sea Kayaking Club to avail of the cheap rates.

We want to finalise details next Tuesday so please let me know by Monday evening whether the dates suit.
The River Rescue will be available as an extra day at a later date.

The course is now fully booked.
We\'re looking for 4 volunteers to act as casualties on a day of first aid scenarios on Dalkey Island on Sunday 12th March. It would be a very good learning experience and sure, when else would you get Seán Pierce and Dave Walsh tucking you up in a space blanket?!
If you\'re interested, please let me know.
Will post here if/when we arrange River session.
