East Coast Paddle Sat 17 Dec Bray 1030

Post by ciaranclissmann » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:47 pm

Hi all,

this week\'s paddle is out of Bray, at 1030 (not 1000 as previously advertised). Usual launch at Dawson\'s amusements.

Forecast is for strong/gusty N/NW winds, so misery guaranteed :cheer:

Dress warmly! Bring a hot drink!

Hi again,

tomorrow\'s paddle looking ok :
Forecast for coasts from Erris Head to Fair Head to Carnsore Point and for the Irish Sea:

Wind : Northwest to North Force 5 or 6, decreasing northerly Force 4 or 5 overnight, decreasing Force 2 to 4 on Saturday and becoming variable in the West of the areas

Sat 17 Dec
HW LW HW LW
00:13 05:54 12:28 18:23
3.8 m 1.1 m 4.0 m 0.9 m

Dublin NWall

So it looks like a bit of wind over tide is likely, but unlikely to have serious onshore swell, and the wind is dropping. Still, it’s strong enough now, so we might have some fun…

See yiz all at 1030
