Irish Sea Symposium @ National Maritime Museum

For anyone interested in the history, culture and environment of the Irish Sea, University College Dublin and the Irish Maritime Museum are together presenting The Irish Sea Symposium on Friday September 19th and Saturday 20th September at The National Maritime Museum of Ireland in Dun Laoghaire, Dublin.

The symposium covers a broad range of topics relating to the sea around our islands. There is a free opening lecture at 7.00pm on Friday evening titled: The Nature of the Irish Sea Coast. The lecture is given by the environmental scientist, Richard Nairn.
