Notification of new posts on the forum

Hi guys, excuse my ignorance as a new member, in advance. But is there any way to get email notifications of new posts on the forum?

Looking through the site, I cannot see any option and expect instead you will just have to check in regularly.

Where you post or reply to a message however, further down the page below the submit button there is an option to receive a notification where anyone replies to your posting.

If everyone posted a reply just so they would be notified of new postings on every topic we would all have a great time visiting the site just to see each other's reminders. Great sport.

When on a particular forum (General, Meets, ...) or at topic level (such as this) if you scroll down and you click on 'Subscribe topic' (or 'Subscribe forum')

You will then be notified of any forums or topics you have subscribed to with an email:
