We’re delighted to welcome well known paddler and film maker Justine Curgenven to Dublin next weekend.
Justine, Barry Shaw and Roger Chandler are starting a ‘Round Ireland on Sunday 12th of May. Justine will giving a talk about her experiences and showing clips of her new DVD “This is the Sea 5” on Saturday night in O’Rourkes of Blackrock at 8pm.
The Ireland paddle is the latest in the list of her epics: around the South Island of New Zealand and Tierra del Fuego with Barry, Haida Gwaii (the Queen Charlottes in British Columbia) and Tasmania. Barry has also circumnavigated the UK and Sardinia and has done 10 crossings of the Irish Sea (that he can remember). Roger of Coastal Spirit in Wales, is a BCU Level 5 Coach who also has a long list of expeditions including around Sicily and Wales and has paddled Chilean Patagonia, Canada and Norway’s Lofotens.
All are welcome, entry is free but I’d appreciate a text or email if you’re coming to make sure we have enough space.
