I believe something similar already exists, as posted over on the general board:

That said, I headed over from Schull to Baltimore today for a first-time meet-up, as they were supposedly meeting up at the wooden booat festival - and at 12:00, with my tide window for the return leg closing, I left without meeting a soul. :(Post edited by: ceegee, at: 2012/05/28 00:02

I went paddling with them on Loch Hyne one evening just after Easter. They\'re a great bunch and worth following up with. We had a lot of fun.

Des Ronan is the man to talk to. If you\'re having trouble getting in touch, Ciaran in Bantry Bay Canoes can help.

Hi,
I\'m a member of the West Cork Kayaking club. we did have a meet for the wooden boat festival but the RDV was from ringarogy island rather than baltimore which probably explains why you missed us.
Best bet is to check our website or facebook page.

Theres normally a meet most sundays at 11 for sea kayaking and occasional saturday if enough interest. Also one evening (normally thurs) for surfing or lough hyne.
