Paddling partner wanted

Post by richard » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:51 pm

I\'m keen to get back on the water after an absence of 2+ years. Gave up going out because there was nobody to paddle with and I can\'t manage my boat on my own. Based in Cork but willing to travel to Waterford, west Cork or Kerry once a month. Still baffled that there\'s no Cork club when we have one of the longest, nicest stretches of coastline in the country and a city with a sizeable population. Where are all the sea kayakers?!!

Hi Richard,
I\'m a member of Phoenix Kayak Club in Cork city http://www.phoenixkayakclub.com/ there are a fair few members who Sea Kayak, including myself. We get out fairly regularly on sea paddles. Give me a buzz if your interested in hooking up with the club paddlers. O86 8330207.

There is also the sea kayaking club set up by Alayne & Jon Hynes. The ocean voyagers http://www.h2oseakayaking.com/sea-kayak ... n-voyagers. They are based out of Kinsale/Garrettstown. If you give them a buzz they\'ll be happy to help you out as well.Post edited by: seanosullivan, at: 2012/01/30 21:00
