TnadT online

Post by tadhgbarry » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:50 pm

Happy Christian holiday to you all.

TnadT online is now up and running.

A few points to make;

It is by no means a finished work of art, merely abandoned- for now. There are many horrible errors. If you see any which cause particular offense, please let me know.

I have taken a liberty in republishing your work in this slightly new format without your permission. Much like Google streetview, I will be happy to take it down at your request. The articles do contain your name but are published under \"admin\" so they shouldn\'t be easily found using search engines.

I have taken other small liberties in attaching photos to articles that were previously without. The WWW suits photos. Again can be amended at your request. Many older articles are without photos. I hope to have photos and maps attached to most articles where relevant in the near future.

Photos in some of the older copies have come out brilliantly, large and in colour- a wonderful archive of the origins of this pursuit in Ireland.
Past editors have been great in getting old docs to me from which I can grab the old photos.

Recent TnadTs, mostly Issues from the 30s on are not yet uploaded. They will be, inshallah.

I am not sure if you can register and comment yet. Have a go. I am curious to see what happens.

Please be inspired. Be inspired to paddle and to learn. Then be inspired to tell others about the experience. Write an article for TnadT!

Without further ado...

Tadhg,

That\'s a fantastic site. I have to admit I didn\'t spend a lot of time reading Treasna na Donnta before but I\'ll probably never be off this - Go hairithe mar ta sceal i nGaeilge freisin. Well done.
