Figured it out... not the most simple thing in the world. I went a step further and made my photo a link just to confuse matters. I am quiet happy with my photos being 499, who needs 999.

I reckon you have extra large photos (eg 999 not 499) due to being moderators or some other shenanigans...I feel so inadequate with my little photos :unsure:

I think I am wonderful that I downloaded Niall\'s program and downscaled a 4000 to 999 and was about to post when I saw there is a new 499 movement afoot so I downscaled again. This is the 999

Advice please. Will the \"gimp\" (no sniggers!!!) programme interfer with the Picassa 3 that I use for my image managment?? Maurice.

Maurice, I use a program Visualizer Photo Resize which was free to download and has never caused any problems.

Here goes again - a cold day off Black Head Co Clare 02.01.2010. If only we could get such clear blue skies during the summer months.............
