From the IWDG:
If you get a chance today you could do worse that visit the Greystones side of Bray Head, Co. Wicklow at a place called Cable rock, where it appears that the \"Risso\'s dolphin\" reported yesterday between Cable Rock and Brandy beach has been re-sighted this morning 19th May between 09:00-11:15 by Mark Douglas, in the same area, within 500m of the shore.
The dolphin\'s behaviour as described by Mark is atypical in that it swam within almost touching distance of Mark\'s 2.5m kayak. Mark\'s description of a very large dolphin of c3.5m, ghostly pale with scaring, and round head does suggest strongly that this is indeed a Risso\'s dolphin. Although its behaviour and the fact that it is solitary is curious for this species.
