I will be very busy over the next while tracking down reindeer for the boss and trying to to keep the elves from striking. The E.U { elves union} are being bolshie but having spoke to the weather witch and she promised them
wonderful paddling next year they have calmed down.
To all at ISKA have a great Christmas and for 2009 \"MAY LIFE BE YOUR HOBBY AND PADDLING YOUR PLEASURE\"

TIME OF YEAR.
Re:TIME OF YEAR.
Jayzus Martin,
If you ever figure out what you are trying to say, please let us all know. And me first please. I feel certain I could be interested.
AND WHATS MORE
The totally undemocratic way you chaired the West of Ireland Sea Kayakers (WISKA) recent AGM in Linnane’s of New Quay on Saturday last 13th December should not be tolerated;
* You allowed discussion on nothing except how best to further sea paddling in the west of Ireland in 2009;
* You ensured a biased outcome to that discussion by everyone (present company excluded, Walshes don’t really do winter paddling), going paddling for 4 or 5 cold hours before the AGM;
* You further ensured bias in the input of discussion by failing to exclude those who hadn’t paid a sub, by the devious stratagem of continuing the “no sub” rule;
* Nothing was written down, and in fact no one even had a pen or paper in their possession;
* You unilaterally postponed the AGM until after everyone ate seafood during the Munster match, so that everyone was in a good humour; AND
* There was no voting, everything was agreed by everyone, and people waited politely to speak until others were finished.
No more, Martin. Enough is enough. Your influence on sea kayaking in Ireland is not going unnoticed, I’ll have you know.

we are outraged, livid and quite possibly beside ourselves with rage that such an untruth be propagated in this somewhat august forum and it simply cannot go unchallenged. Both pen and paper WERE present and many fine doodles were produced. I put it you, sir, that the evidence is undeniable. Diminished visual capacity caused by excessive tearing is no excuse (despite that dismal Leinster performance).

Just in case ye think it was all fun, games and bad puns at last Saturday\'s meeting, I would let you know that representatives of Doolin Rescue were presented with a cheque for €1,000. The money was raised at the \'07 Kinvara and \'08 Streamstown meets. Well done to chefs/chiefs Johnny, Peter and Martin.
