- Library of Maps & Charts to be made available to Members.

A personal Opinion
We have many members making overseas trips & Expeditions.
Would members be prepared to place a Trip Log + Maps / Charts, Contacts
into the Library as a reference source for others wishing to do the same trip at future time.
or with the technology available today - maybe these could be stored in an on-line library - restricted to ISKA members only ??

This is one issue I know the committee won\'t object to - but it would need you as the members doing the trips to put the package together,...

When I read the comment \"This is one issue I know the committee won\'t object to\", I have to say that this really concerned me.

It, in my mind, conveys some sort of \"them vs. us\" mentality.

I would like to think that the committe is open to new ideas, and not a dictorial regime that believes that it knows best.

I hope I\'m being overly-sensitive and reading too much into the phrasing.

All the issues that are raised will be discussed by the committee.

Some will be implemented - some may not
- This will happen not as you say in a dictatorial way but after some reasoned argument.
Issues such as the complexities of the technology , expense etc etc. have to be looked at before we can go forward.

We do wish to be open - so we will repond as a committee (not as individuals) to each proposal in due time.
