North Side on Wed.5/9

Post by ND » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:48 pm

Hi folks,
I know there\'s no trip planned this week on this side of town but is there anybody for a paddle peer or other - subject to weather, sea condition, my paddling level etc.
cheers
Nic

Nic,

I will be paddling Northside on Wednesday, probably Rush or Skerries, weather looks good at present.

Anyone else ?

Guys,

Meet Rush Harbour, on the water for as close as possible to 19:00. Paddle towards Skerries, take in Shenick and perhaps Paddies, with a return to Rush, approx. 3 hours on the water.

We will be returning in the dark, so headtorch if you have one, I have a few lightsticks if necessary.

Looks like minimal winds and a clear sky for the evening, we may even see the Otter !

Any issues, any other takers TXT 087 2434913.

Fantastic night paddle. All along the coast between Rush and Shenick we were treated to a bioluminescent light show. Like blue sparks running off the bow, I felt like Buck Rogers in the 21st Century travelling through space and time. Excellent.
