East Coast Mulled Wine

The weather is looking kind for the trip next Saturday 23rd. We plan to have mulled wine on Dalkey Island. All are welcome.
The trip will be led by David Walsh, if he sorts out which day is Christmas (don\'t ask!). If he\'s still confused at the end of the week, an alternative leader will volunteer. Meeting time will probably be 1000 but watch this space!

The only thing that I can think of more uncivilsed than paddling a sea kayak in December is paddling a sea kayak in December early in the morning, so its on the water at 11.00, by which time hopefully the day will have brightened up a bit. Arrive whenever, but last person on the water buys a round for everyone, if we can find a pub on Dalkey Island - the Goat Inn, perhaps?
The usual meteoroligical ifs and buts apply, but unless there is a further notice, just be there.

The club will supply the drink, shop-bought mince pies (MK too busy to bake) and... anything else you want???!

The only ryule (d\'ya get it?) on a Christmas mulled wine paddle is that everyone, except the elves, must cuddle Santa.
