SE paddlers xmas paddle

Post by emullan » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:48 pm

Hi all,

Weather permitting, there will be a SE xmas paddle next Sat 9th Dec.
Meet at the slip way in Dunmore East (neat to the yacht club) at 10.30.

This will be a peer paddle; there will be no leader. Everyone should come with a map and clued in about the weather, tides etc.

However, we\'re happy to help organise paddles to suit all levels, from the gentle excursions of the coffee-and camper brigade (of which I am now a very proud member) to the 40k blasts of the 90-mile-an-hour brigade (of which the Durnan brothers are loyal members).

We\'ll retire to a local watering afterwards.

Please text me on 087 7851475 to let me know if you are coming.

Cheerio,
Elaine

Don\'t think I am that fast Elaine, maybe you need to speed up???

Looking at weather last few weeks looks like it will be a long slog no matter where we go? It is a 20km paddle and not that fast at all for those interested

Hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

Hi,

Looks like weather\'s OK for tomorrow, so paddle will go ahead.

All welcome.

Bring lots of warm food and clothes, and of course some mince pies.

Cheerio,
Elaine.
