Thanks everyone for tips. Ballyconneely/Mannion was beautiful, windy, and thanks to the rocks, I had the opportunity to use the word \'clapitis\' casually in conversation, and without making it sound like a nasty infection.
To Tagdh O\'Brien - so sorry I didn\'t get in touch but being the eejit that I am, I forgot to put your number in my phone. I\'ve also been away for two weeks, hence the belated apology. I hope you got out for a paddle at some stage over the weekend. There appeared to be kayaks on every car roof in the West of Ireland that week, so hopefully you found company for your trip.
