Interested in trying some paddle surfing. Am tall- 6\' 4\'\' so cant decide between waveski and whitewater boat.
Anyone have any experience/ advice
( have tried my sea kayak on small 3 foot waves, works well but lots of effort trying not to broach )

Get a big whitewater boat with a flat hull and sharp edges, like a Riot Glide. Try before you buy to make sure its comfortable.
I havent tried waveskis but I am told they are less comfortable and a fair bit more difficult to handle than a kayak. If you can handle them they are clearly the way to go as they are really fast.
Surf safe.
