Online Quiz instead of streamstown.

Hello to all in ISKA, I hope wherever you are in the country, or abroad, you are keeping well and building up that wish list of trips for when we can get out again.

This virus has unfortunately put a roadblock in the way of us all meeting up in Streamstown this weekend. As a way of keeping contact with the rest of the kayaking community Margaret has offered to run an online Quiz.

The Quiz will be on Zoom at 8.30pm this Saturday, 02/05/2020. All you need do for the moment is keep an eye on this forum for details of how to partake.

Sadly we will not be able to partake in the tepee fun or the entertainment and delicious food laid on by Peter, Dave and Martin, but at least we can come together for an hour or so of communal entertainment.

Keep an eye on this site for further details, see you all 'ish' on Saturday.

Sorry we're not all in Streamstown, but here we go. Another few weeks, and hopefully, we will be back on the water.
So, in the meantime... The ISKA online quiz kicks off at 8.30pm Tonight (Saturday 2nd May 2020).
The quiz will be held via Zoom - a free web conferencing app. (It is quick to download and easy to use - do this in advance ot the Quiz, if you don't already have it, please!)

Then, you will hopefully see some of your wonderful seakayaking buddies!! And we'll kick off as soon as everyone settles a bit! Michael will Chair and Margaret will be Quizmaster, etc.

What you will be require to do during the quiz:
Have a drink and Laptop, Ipad, Tablet, etc to hand.
Take a note of your answers - for the first three rounds;
Write up the answers in the layout below;
After the third round, during the break, email you answers to quiz@iska.ie
You go and refill your teacup!
We will compile results during the break and then run a one or two more rounds.
You have to re-use the format below for Rounds 4 onwards ! And hen send them on to the same email again, quickly!
The results will be announced before midnight!!!!
