Aran/Cliffs of Moher Meet - Weekend 25th August

Hi Gang,

The weather for the weekend is looking much much better. If it holds true for forecast the meet will go ahead this weekend.

Meet Saturday morning Doolin Pier 1000hrs on water for 1100hrs.
I'm inclined to have a shore based meet. Camp or park in Doolin and have two day trips on the Saturday and the Sunday.

Saturday we could do trip to Inis Oirr have lunch and pint on the island explore it and return that evening.

Sunday Cliffs of Moher trip - Packed lunch at Haggs Head.

Alternatively we could do Cliffs Saturday and Aran Sunday. We will get a concensus as to what everyone wants to do on the pier Saturday.

Check forum for any updates Thursday. Final call.

PLEASE INDICATE HERE WHETHER YOUR PREFERENCE - Cliffs of Moher Saturday
or Aran Islands Saturday.

I'm planning to be there and have no preference as to which way round the paddles on Saturday and Sunday happen. Happy to do whatever works best with the weather etc.

Actually the weather has improved even further today. The wind has dropped off entirely Saturday and Sunday and are off shores so swell is negligible.

Great to see the meet taking place, thanks in advance Brian. I always seem to miss these opinion surveys but Aran on Saturday now would be my preference. Maybe a few renegades might stay overnight but I will happily go with the flow and even the tides if it suits.
