Did you know
- flights to Anchorage are about 550 sterling (800 euro) from Gatwick, return.
- proper Valley and NDK boats can be hired, guide-free, in Alaska for $280 a week (say 500 euro for a fortnight).

Does this suggest anything to anyone ?

I have had two wilderness kayaking trips to South East Alaska. One to Glacier Bay and the other to Misty Fiords. Both 2 week trips.
Completely different trips but both wonderful.
