What do you do when you get a phone call at 3pm on a working day telling you there are Basking Sharks on your doorstep?
You drop everything, grab your kayak and run!!!
Paddling with Ted Chris and Matty just south of Kilkee where there were already 20+ sightings of the shark. You might have seen part of the clip on RTE 6 One News yesterday evening.

From Goleen, approx 6km SW of Kilkee as the crow flies. It involved dragging the kayaks across a field and down along a stream. On any other day you would paddle down from Kilkee itself but on this occasion, it was about spending as much time with the them. As a first experience and with several in the water around us for the whole time, it was an incredible experience.
