New boat advice
Need some advice in deciding on a new kayak; R and M Capella versus Avocet. Would prefer a plastic version, and use it for fitness and paddling in rough water/ rock gardens. Unfortunately i havent paddled either. Does anyone who has one have any positive or negative opinions?

SURFING
Interested in trying some paddle surfing. Am tall- 6\' 4\'\' so cant decide between waveski and whitewater boat.
Anyone have any experience/ advice
( have tried my sea kayak on small 3 foot waves, works well but lots of effort trying not to broach )

Did you do a VHF course? Any use (apart from legalities)?
Cant find any on in Cork in the near future so will probably just read the manual carefully.
