Thanks. If I mount it on the deck I will also use a tether.
I also got a floaty back door which would mean that you could paddle back and pick it up if you noticed it falling off.

Re:Can anybody recommend a map case
<t>Great guys<br/> <br/> Would these bivvy bags pack up fairly small? Space is very tight.<br/> I would want it to go all the way into the tail or to take up hardly any space in the day hatch. Or perhaps it could go right up in the nose alongside the tent.<br/> <br/> CiaranPost edited by: ciarancart...

Re:How do you mount yours? (camera, I mean)
Thanks CeeGee
I\'m still waiting for it to arrive and hoping to use the head (not helmet) mount. Hopefully the current model has solved the problem you were talking about. I also ordered the floaty back door in case it does come off.
Great tips. I\'ll report back.

<t>I got it and have been experimenting with the \"narrow\" field of view. Its \"zero distortion sir\" but it seems kind of grainy. Theres a medium fov which looks better.<br/> <br/> This came with a \"grab bag\" of mounts. Are these small flat surface adheisive mounts suitable for the deck of a boa...

How do you mount yours? (camera, I mean)
I am considering investing in a gopro camera. Has anybody successfully used the head strap and rolled? (not the helmet mounted one by the way). Or is the chest harness better? I am not interested in boat mounted as I imagine it would be better to capture what you are looking at?

Can anybody recommend a map case
Had been using seal line. It has started to leak after a few years. Maybe they\'re still the best though?
Also could somebody recommend a good bivvy bag.

Camera recommendations
Just getting in the market for a camera suitable for sea kayaking:
These two shockproof ones were suggested:
Fujifilm xp30 and
Olympus TG310
Any opinions or other suggestions, things to look out for are appreciated.

My paddle blade spigots (aluminium) are corroded, my shaft is cracked, all ireetreivable (shame) and I need a good set of paddles in a hurry. Who supplies these currently?
