Looking forward to seeing folks visit us in Schull / FMOEC this weekend.

If anyone is working on new Sea Kayak awards at L3 or L4, bring your Paddler Profile books as I may be able to assist you with some sign offs.

Weather looking a little wet Friday but plenty of hope for Sat and Sun. I know ISKA will post a full update in advance of the weekend.

Best wishes.
Jon

Hi folks,

The weather for the weekend ahead isn’t going to be as calm and balmy as we might have seen it over the last number of weeks. That said, there will still be paddles to be had, and the meet will be going ahead as planned.

Friday will see some rain, so if you’d prefer to change your booking from Tent Pitch to Dorm, you can change your response on the form

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the water,,

Looking forward to this weekend!

We'll have a briefing each morning at 10 am outlining the plan for the day.

Hi guys,
many thanks to people for organising.

As I'm sure many of you know, but some may not,
if you scroll down on the Sea Area forecast on Meteireann,
you'll see the "7 day islands forecast".
Both Sherkin and Cape Clear are listed.

I find it beats sticking my finger up in the air and sniffing the wind

Hope you find it useful.

Thanks so much to relevant parties for the organisation :-)
Looking forward to being in West Cork, whatever the weather.
Katie Carr and her family will be around so if all fails, we can all cosy into one of the local establishments & she might do a reading of the book she has co-written on her brother Toby Carr’s adventure, Sea Kayaking the Shipping Forecast Areas.
See you later. :-)

We've got a tent and a multitool / pocketknife left behind in Schull.

Send me a message if either is yours.

Thanks guys for a very enjoyable, laid-back, sociable trip to Schull.
Great to make so many new acquaintances.
Everybody was so chilled and relaxed.
You have a super destination and set-up down there in our magnificent south/west.
Hope to see you again in the not too distant future.

Many thanks to Pat, John, Tash, and ISKA. Sennen
