Deep Blue Sea Kayaking and Nigel Dennis Sea Kayaks are joining forces to organise and lead a trip to the southern tip of Spain for the week Sat 4th March to Sat 11th March. Anyone paddling around ICU Level 4 or BCU 4* standard or above is welcome to join us
Itinerary:
The exact itinerary of the expedition will depend on the weather but will possibly include; crossing the Straits to the Spanish enclave of Cueta in Morocco, paddling around the Gibraltar peninsular, paddling from there down to the picturesque town of Tarifa.
Travel arrangements:
We recommend that you fly to Malaga airport from where you’ll be collected and dropped off the following week. If you want to extend your stay at either end, there are plenty of public transport options, just let us know if you need any help with these.
Accommodation:
The accommodation we will use will be dependent on where we go and what we do but will probably be hostels and we’ll try to keep the costs as low as suitable. You will need to come prepared to camp from the kayak for up to three days and there will be opportunities to buy food during the expedition.
Equipment:
We will provide a selection of NDK kayaks. If you need any other kayaking or camping equipment please let us know and we will see what we can do.
Cost:€495 per person includes kayak, organisation and leadership. Flight and accommodation are not included.
