ISKA Calendar for 2016.

Safety Trg Weekend Ardmore 5/6 Mar. This event is now published on Eventbrite. The event is open to paid up ISKA members only. ISKA members will be sent an email to allow them access the booking for this event via a password and also the second event in Roundstone on 9/10 Apr. The cost of the weekend is 53.40 Euro.

This ISKA organised training weekend is aimed at increasing the safety and standard of sea kayakers in Ireland.
The course is run on behalf of ISKA by experienced professional Sea Kayak instructors who are at minimum a qualified level 3 Sea Kayak instructor and level 5 Sea proficiency (trained).
The weekend will consist of
level 3+ sea skills,
rescues (self & peer),
towing,
incident management and seamanship.
This training weekend is subsidised by ISKA and is only open to ISKA members

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No. Proof of ticket can be via phone app or proof of email on phone

What is the refund policy?
a minimum of 10 days is required for a full refund of ticket (minus payment fees). This is as event organisers have to give a minimum of 10 days notice to intructors running the course

The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay?
No. The name on the ticket needs to match the attendee unless notification is given to course organiser a minimum of 7 days proir to event. Person who attends the event must be a fully paid ISKA member

What must I bring for the course
Sea Kayak & any safety equipment you have. ISKA will supply some safety equipment for training purposes
Suitable Clothing and footwear to allow for immersion in the water - drysuit or winter wetsuit and cag
A packed lunch must be brought, tea's and coffees will be supplied on the day

Myself and Chris Corr will be running the Amen Support Services Charity event again this year sometime in June. When we get the date, venue & details finalised we'd appreciate it if it could be added to the ISKA calendar
