ISKA meet July 23rd 24th West

This will be an offshore camping trip. We will meet on Saturday morning at 9:30 on the beach road. OS sheet 37 grid ref 613 582. The islands that may be used are Friar, Inishshark and Inishbofin. As the weather this summer is very changeable please post here if you intend travelling. At the moment the weather looks ok for next weekend. An update will be added later in the week so keep checking the notice board.

I plan to travel on the Friday and propose to take the more comfortable Inishbofin option - weather permitting, of course.

There are plenty of areas that you can wild camp. There are official camp sites near clifton.

Signing up. OK on whichever island is decided upon - Inishbofin, Friar or Shark. Will be camping in Cleggan on Friday. Understand that Michael will post further specific details shortly.

Hi folks, it looks like conditions will be near perfect for the weekend, if a little cold. Mick O Farrell will be leading a trip to Inishbofin. Camping will be in the grounds of the hostel.

Dave Carraher will be leading a trip to Inishshark, This is a wild camping trip and you will need to bring water with you in your boat for the weekend.

Make sure you are comfortable with that distance, after you have packed your boat.
