Aran Islands meet. 9/10 July

Launch point for this trip is the Coral Strand or Tra an Dolainn. Find it on OS map 44. L 912 233. Destination is Kilmurvey, Inis Mor.

Wild camping available at both locations and should not be a problem as long as our group is not too big and everyone makes an effort to be discrete. Make your own arrangements for B&B/hostel accomodation - there are plenty about but remember, in mid-July they will be heavily booked.

The crossing is about 9 miles of exposed water so intending attendees should be realistic about their abilities. On the day, the trip leader(s) will have absolute discretion as to who has (or has not) the ability to handle the conditions.
