map case advice

Post by tadhgbarry » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:46 pm

looking for advice re map cases for attaching to spray deck
got an okay one from splashtac.com but too small and can only be viewed through a single side
the two main ones seem to be sealine who produce a submersible one and gaia, sold by knoydart
has anyone tried these? how good are they?

Tadhg,
I have the smaller mapcase from Gaia and find it to be very good. Can easily attach to spraydeck.Perfect size for printed maps ,but OS maps don\'t last too long after being folded several times.Good seal on this mapcase as well

Tadhg, we stock the Cascade Designs case in different sizes. It\'s a heavy duty plastic and uses a tough \'ziplok\' type closure which works very well as long as you keep it clean.
