Greenland Rolling Clinics - an update on the rolling clinic from Peter Hennessen.

These sessions are aimed more at beginners looking to learn and get in their first rolls or if you have only ever managed one or perhaps two. If you have neoprene hats, gloves, goggles and nose clips or dive masks, it would be worth your while bringing these along.

Folks

We are down to 9 days and counting. It would help us hugely if everyone who has booked and gave a deposit, could now pay any balance due as soon as possible and in advance of the event.

We expect to be very busy over the weekend making sure everything runs as smoothly as possible for your enjoyment. The extra hassle of collecting monies will only be a hindrance.

If you have not yet booked and plan on doing so, you will need to pay the full amount due at this point. No more deposits please, full payment only.

If for whatever reason you have to cancel, depending on whether we like you or not and if you are nice to us, you will get a full refund.

Link to Paypal below and your assistance would be greatly appreciated. If you are unsure of how much you owe, drop me an email - iskasymposium2012@gmail.com

Some images of the Inishkeas downloaded from Dave Walsh\'s book Oileain, taken from a trip to the islands in 2004.

Folks
If you are travelling to the symposium and only paid a deposit or no payment at all, I would really appreciate if you could pay the balance due as soon as possible. The preferred option is Paypal - link below. Even if you do not have a Paypal account, it will still allow you to use your credit card.

From tomorrow onwards (Tuesday), do not post cheques as I will be on the road and I will not receive them. You will need to bring these to the event itself and settle up at registration.

If for whatever reason you subsequently find you cannot travel, full refunds will be available.

If you are still deciding whether or not to travel, there are still spaces available and I would encourage you to get your applications in a.s.a.p.

Thanks

Conor

Another update and I promise there won\'t be many more as we are almost there. Then again, the more information I give out, the less questions I will be asked....

When travelling down Friday evening, you should eat before you get to the hostel. Kitchens are not available for our use. As you socialise however, whether sucking pints or sipping wine, I have arranged for the Chef to drop in on 2 occasions throughout the evening to prepare finger foods. You will be able to purchase this from him directly i.e. cocktail sausages, chips etc.

Breakfasts will consist of the usual cereals and/or a cooked breakfast.

Packed lunches will consist of a sandwich, a bag of crisps, fruit and a drink. If you think you might need more, I suggest you bring it with you.

At all times, there is access to toasters, a microwave and of course kettles.

You will not need to bring your sleeping bags and more likely the hostel will not allow you bring these into your rooms.

Make sure you bring your own towels.
