Folks
Weather Gods decided not to be so kind to us have \"Collapsed the Ridge of High Pressure\"

Met Eireann Forecast
Forecast for coasts from Belfast Lough to Hook Head to Slyne Head and the Irish Sea -
Wind: Northeast to north or variable force 1 to 3 but reaching force 4 or 5 at first in the east and south; becoming southwest force 4 to 6 early tonight and then increasing force 6 or 7, occasionally gale force 8, before veering west to northwest force 5 or 6 Saturday forenoon.
WindGuru is in agreement.

So with a forecast like this - we will stick our noses out.
We should get some shelter from Bray Head itself (Although Katabatics can be a problem)
BUT if conditions are as forecast - then I won\'t encourage \"Improvers\" to leave the beach.

Of the 141 paddlers who loked at this post - only 4 turned out - A Pity.

Maybe I painted a too nasty picture of the weather - Sorry but prefer to err on the pessimistic side.
Anyway the Weater Gods grimaced and the winds died down.
So the noses we poked out didn\'t get blown away...
