Great news from Tibet - Humphrey has made it!!
He summitted on Monday (May 30) at 1am Irish time, 7am his time, on a beautiful blue and windless morning. He was alone and had the summit to himself for a little while. He seemed able to enjoy it too, as he talked about the great scrambling on the ridge, and the beauty of his lofty surroundings.
He\'s safely down at Base Camp now and is heading for Kathmandu tomorrow, home to Dublin Tuesday lunchtime. A light weight expedition, but with monumental effort, and a wonderful conclusion!
