Westie paddle this weekend
Westie paddle this weekend
Hi Folks
I am on the list for a cliffs of Moher trip this weekend. Given that it is a long weekend I was thinking of extending it into an overnight or possibly 2 overnights. The Doolin/Liscannor/Fanore area is a little limited on the camping front and I was going to suggest changing to Carraroe which gives us the Aran/Brannocks option if the weather is good or more sheltered paddling if the weather stays unsettled.
At the moment this is just a suggestion and if the majority would prefer a day trip from Liscannor to Doolin that is what we will do. Let me know what you think either below or to my work email Donaldjatryanhanleydotie. Final decision will be made on Thursday evening with the help of the weather forecast.
Whatever trip happens it will as usual be a peer group paddle - ie. there will be no coaching or leading done unless people decide to have a rolling clinic or something after the main paddle.

Erm, we were looking fwd to paddling the cliffs on Sun and climbing them on Sat. But it looks like the majority favours the other option. We\'ll see.

I would be on for the original and the best- paddle Cliffs of MOHAIR!! on Sat 6 Aug. Willing to paddle to Timbuctoo and back after that.
Re:Westie paddle this weekend
Sounds like there\'s enough people around for both trips to happen.

Hi Mark and anyone else interested in peer paddling the cliffs,
Lots of rain coming in on Sun so Sat/Mon would be better. We\'ll be in Clare for the weekend anyway, so can do either.
Contact us on 087 2045880 or 087 7851475.
Cheerio,
