Underwear
A topic close to all our hearts
I\'m planning an extended trip this summer, and wondering what\'s the best thing to wear next to the skin ?
I\'m guessing
- not cotton, cos it\'s slow to dry and doesn\'t wick away sweat
- not neoprene, due to rubbing and chafing
- some sort of extra-soft fleece, perhaps ?
I\'d be particularly interested in boxers or something along those lines, and something t-shirt-shaped. I find the Reed fleeces good for long-sleeved comfort, but what about short arms and short legs ?
What do others wear ?

Re:Underwear
Hi Admin
I found the Reed shorts and short sleeved top with short soft fleece top underneath worked a dream during my circumnav trip last Summer. Important to wear the fleece underneath to avoid potential friction burns. I practically lived in the gear for the entire trip, hardly needed to be washed, dried quickly so never had to put on wet gear. No smart comments please! Go on and purchase, I\'m sure you\'ll look great in that \"little black number\".

Re:Underwear
I like thermal underwear ..Stormlite Ladies boxer shorts and Helly Hansen top.. not that you need the latter!! Lowe Alpine do nice ones but I also got cheaper ones online from Field and Trek. They don\'t chaff, easy to wash and quick to dry tho not very fashionable!

That was the noise of Maurice going out to buy another keyboard...
Re:Underwear
Yeah right, Its just that \"hardly needed to be washed\" knickers on a trip like that is too much for me!!! Take my advise and go Apaché!

Lets put this one to bed! Paperazi have vindicated the Pirate Queen. (Only problem is that the \"F\"en image is too bloody big to post). :silly:
Re:Underwear
Just curious ...
what brand is Apaché.
Is it some skinsoft underwear logo?
I tried google and came up with \'Apache software foundation\'
even more confusing
