Due to unforeseen circs, Alan H won't make it to Streamstown.

Thanks Cieran.
Okay no worries we will sort ourselves out regarding the easy paddle Saturday morning.
Briefing at tepee tent 1000hrs.
Weather is changeable however forecast mostly sunny spells with the odd shower.
Showers forecasted to have passed over by 1600hrs so we will have a dry evening for the cook out.
Regardless we will have the two tepees up and stoves lit so there will be comfort and warmth to enjoy our food.
Please bring your own plate and utensils for the cook out and discretionary contribution for the RNLI.
There are hot showers and a separate cooking area provided on the campsite.
As to the easy paddle Saturday we will have a look at the conditions and get a concensus as to what people want to do. The race will be running on the ebb. Winds are southerly but swell is low so maybe a spin to Tubrid island that way wind at our backs will speed us home. Loads of options.
Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Hi Brian, all
I won't be in Streamstown after all. My step-dad passed away last night, and I need to be in Dublin for the coming days.
I hope that you all have a brilliant weekend, and that the weather and sea gods are kind to ye.
All the best

Thanks a million to everyone who came out.
37 Paddlers on the water Saturday.
Those who ignored the weather forecast were rewarded with fantastic conditions.
Thanks to Peter David and Trish for providing a truly magnificent meal.
First meet of the year was a blast May the rest be just as good.
