Re:Level 4 sea kayaking skills awards
<t>Hi Colin,<br/> <br/> I\'m the same. I put a post on the East Coast site a week ago and was planning to post it here as well. So far I\'ve one possible, and I\'m exploring getting an assessment run. With you, that makes 3, and I think we need a group of 4.<br/> <br/> If you\'d like to get in touch...
Re:Calm Seas
Looks fantastic. Enjoy it.
Meanwhile, here on the east coast we\'re getting a chance to practise with onshore winds, which might leave me a bit better prepared for the Atlantic later in the year.

Re:Level 4 sea kayaking skills awards
Hi Colin,
If you\'re interested in this, I\'ve got an assessment provisionally arranged for 27 July.
Let me know if that suits.

Re:west clare meet 11/12 august
<t>A little late, but I\'ll add my thanks too. A great weekend and a fabulous piece of coast. Sitting off Loop Head with a pod of dolphins heading through, rafting up between Leaba Dhiarmada and the Head, nosing under the Bridges of Ross, watching 30 kayakers get bullied by a horse...<br/> <br/> Jus...

Re:Drysuit gaket repair
<t>Hi Nic,<br/> <br/> I gather iCanoe will repair gaskets and do a good job. They\'ll also sell you a repair kit which works well. I used it for my neck gasket about 20 months ago and it\'s still going strong: the most difficult part was plucking up the courage to start. After that, it\'s just a cas...

Re:Cork West Cork Paddlers
<t>I went paddling with them on Loch Hyne one evening just after Easter. They\'re a great bunch and worth following up with. We had a lot of fun.<br/> <br/> Des Ronan is the man to talk to. If you\'re having trouble getting in touch, Ciaran in Bantry Bay Canoes can help.<br/> <br/> HTH<br/> <br/> Al...

Hi Maurice,
Is this a load of bull or are you just trying to tease us before our defences go up?

Re:Rescues
The RNLI news clip doesn\'t give too much away, except that it seems to have happened well inside Cork harbour:

Re:Rescues
Des, I looked a bit further. Phoenix Kayak Club in Cork picked this up, here: http://phoenixkayakclub.editboard.com/t2325-kayakers-rescued-in-cork-harbour Seems not to be any of their members. They linked to this: http://www.thejournal.ie/crosshaven-rnli-called-to-rescue-struggling-kayakers-261514-O...
