Just got an email from Jim Morrissey who is setting up a new sea kayak enterprise. For more information, contact info at kayakmor dot com.

Just a quick note to say that I\'m setting up a sea kayak company based in the Galway area. The company is being called Kayakmor and a website will be up and running shortly at www.kayakmor.com. My aim is to take people out mainly in Galway Bay, Connemara & Lough Corrib & Lough Mask.
I will offering mostly half day and day trips and also courses up to Level 3 proficiency, and will be keen to familiarise paddlers with flora and fauna and coastal features. Also as a experienced international racing kayaker I hope to introduce and coach people in sea kayak racing / paddling for fitness.

Best of luck to Jim and Kayakmor.
There\'s been a huge lack of providers on the west coast in general and it\'s great to see it being filled.

Congragulations to |Jim and Sarah,
Over the past few years it has been great to see Ireland being recognised as a sea kayaking destination and with the standard of paddlers and instructors here we are as well off as anywhere in the world.
With the ICU the ISKA and all the private operators doing their bit. Sea Kayaking in Ireland is alive and well and has a great future.
Now a few secrets :
People may not know this but Jim Morrissey is one of the top sea kayak racers in the world and is very well respected internationally. He is truly a modest man of the sea
His knowledge of the marine enviornment, his paddling skills, his teaching ability combined with his safety standards will be a great addition to sea kayaking in Ireland.
Good luck with the new company Jim and Sarah.
Cant wait to visit and paddle with you in Galway.
